BuildCostMate does not require an account, and we do not ask you to submit personal information to use any calculator. All calculations run entirely in your own browser â the numbers you enter (wall dimensions, brick sizes, prices, etc.) are never sent to our servers, because this site has no server-side database to send them to.
We use Google Analytics to understand which calculators are used and how visitors navigate the site, and Google AdSense to show ads. Both services may set cookies and collect data such as your approximate location, device type, and browsing behavior, in line with Google's own privacy practices. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time, though some site features may work differently as a result.
We use Google AdSense for advertising and Google Analytics for site statistics. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google collects and uses data across its network.
If you submit a Marketplace listing, the information you provide (such as your name, contact details, and listing content) is collected via Google Forms and stored in a Google Sheet for our review before publication. This is subject to Google's Privacy Policy in addition to this one. Approved listings, including any contact information you choose to include, are displayed publicly on the Marketplace page â do not include information you're not comfortable sharing publicly.
BuildCostMate is a general-audience construction reference tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
We may update this policy as the site changes. Continued use of BuildCostMate after an update means you accept the revised policy. Significant changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
